Scholarships

SCHOLARSHIP CRITERIA

An applicant must be a student enrolled:
(1) on a full or part-time basis
(2) at an accredited educational institution. This is not limited to four-year colleges. Scholarship funds will be exclusively provided for tuition and related expenses only.

FELLOWSHIP CRITERIA

Applicants do not have to be students. However, they must seek–through their work or research to:
(1) expand cultural awareness of issues effecting minorities;
(2) research issues pertinent to cultural diversity or the education of others on such subjects;
(3) expand of the rights of minorities, or broadly advance civil and human rights.
They must be actively engaged in research or educationally-related pursuits associated with African-American studies, education of minorities, civil or human rights, photo or video-journalism.
